Old Pueblo Doors is a collaboration of Curt and Lynne Carnes. A theater of Tucson-inspired doorways, Old Pueblo Doors consists of five double-faced and double-shuttered portals(each 13 1/4" h x 6 3/4" w), which open, concertina-style, to form a street-scape around an open plaza. Each shutter displays an aphorism on the nature of doors.  Folded and enclosed in a linen wrapper (which open, forms the 15" x 15" plaza), Old Pueblo Doors measures 13 1/2" h x 7 1/2" w x 1" d.

Old Pueblo Doors has been chosen by Hedi Kyle, curator, for Inventive Structures: Books Beyond the Codex. “Inventive Structures” opens May 14 and runs through June 25, 2010, at The Creative Arts Workshop, New Haven, Connecticut. www.creativeartsworkshop.org
